Job summary

Dr Sulaiman AlHabib Medical Centers is seeking an EMS professional to provide frontline emergency care and patient transport. You will participate in resuscitation, triage, and stabilization, collaborating with the team to deliver timely care in critical situations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in EMS, fresh graduate status (or up to one year), and certifications including BCLS, ACLS, Trauma Life Support, and Saudi Council credentialing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Emergency Medical Services is required.
• Fresh Graduate; preferably with one year experience.
• BCLS, ACLS provider & Trauma Life Support certifications.
• Saudi Council certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in resuscitation of patients in emergencies before hospital admission.
• Determine priority under supervision of line manager for required emergency care.
• Record patient information and vital signs; assess nature and extent of injuries.
• Provide medical care during emergencies (CPR, AED, control bleeding, prevent spinal injuries).
• Move patients as needed for treatment and transport to facilities.
• Monitor patients en route; maintain stabilization.
• Operate emergency medical apparatus and equipment.
• Drive ambulance as needed.
• Maintain inventory and ensure equipment functions properly.
• Keep vehicle clean and in good operating condition.
• Calm family members and public at the scene; provide education as needed.
• Participate in person-centered care initiatives and enrich patient experience.

Administering emergency medical care to injured and critically ill in an emergency environment or while transporting them to other medical facility as a member of an emergency medical team

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

• Provide care in the process of resuscitate patients in an emergency before hospital admission.
• Determine the priority under the supervision of line manager for required emergency care as outlined.
• Determine nature and extent of injury or illness and record patient information and vital signs.
• Provide medical care during emergency situations, such as CPR, AED, control bleeding, prevent spinal damages, etc.
• Lift and move patients as necessary for treatment and transportation to medical facilities.
• Monitor patient’s conditions and stabilizations while en-route to the hospitals.
• Operate emergency medical apparatus and equipment.
• Drive ambulance as needed.
• Maintain inventory of medical equipment and supplies and ensure equipment are working properly.
• Keep vehicle clean and in efficient operating condition.
• Help to calm down the family members of the victim and the public at the scene.
• Provide patient and family education as per the needs.
• Participate in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
• Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect and dignity.
• Perform other applicable task and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities.
