Job summary

Client of Aventus Global Talent is seeking a Vice President M&A Investment Banking in Riyadh to lead execution across Saudi Arabia and the GCC, identifying strategic opportunities and guiding deals from idea through completion.

The role demands 6–10 years of investment banking experience with substantial M&A exposure, strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical capabilities, and GCC experience is highly advantageous.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of investment banking experience with substantial M&A exposure.
• Strong experience in M&A execution across the full transaction lifecycle.
• Excellent financial modelling, valuation and analytical capabilities.
• Experience across mid-market and/or large-cap transactions; GCC experience would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Execute M&A transactions across Saudi Arabia and the GCC including acquisitions, disposals, mergers, JVs, strategic investments and other corporate transactions.
• Take a leading role in the day-to-day execution of transactions coordinating internal teams, clients and external advisers.
• Build and review detailed financial models including DCF, trading and transaction comparables, merger models, accretion/dilution analysis and scenario analysis.
• Lead valuation analysis and develop transaction structures and strategic alternatives.
• Prepare high-quality pitch books, board presentations, teasers, information memoranda and other transaction materials.
• Support senior bankers in client discussions and increasingly take ownership of client interactions and transaction workstreams.
• Identify and develop M&A opportunities from the bank s balance-sheet corporate banking and existing client relationships working closely with relationship and coverage teams.
