Job summary

SELF is seeking a creative Video Editor in Jeddah to turn raw footage into engaging content for doctors, clinics, and professionals building personal brands. You will edit Reels and long-form videos in Arabic, with strong pacing, visuals, and accurate subtitles.

Requirements include 2+ years in video editing, a strong portfolio, and advanced skills in Premiere Pro/After Effects or DaVinci Resolve. This is an on-site, full-time role with a modern studio and a driving impact on client brands.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of video editing experience, agency or social media preferred.
• Strong portfolio showing short-form and long-form edits.
• Native Arabic speaker with good English understanding.
• Based in Jeddah and able to work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form Reels and long-form videos from raw footage to final delivery.
• Structure videos with clear storytelling, hooks and pacing.
• Add and sync accurate Arabic subtitles (English when needed).
• Apply colour correction, audio editing and sound design for a polished finish.
• Create motion graphics and text animations aligned with client identity.
• Deliver videos on deadlines and follow the content plan.
• Incorporate client and team feedback within revision rounds.
• Export files in formats for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Snapchat.
• Organize project files in drive with proper naming and archiving.
• Keep task status updated in project management system.
• Stay updated with social media editing trends.

The role

SELF is looking for a creative Video Editor to turn raw footage into engaging, high-quality content for our clients — mainly doctors, clinics and professionals building their personal brands. You'll edit short-form Reels and long-form videos in Arabic, bringing each client's story to life with strong pacing, clean visuals and accurate subtitles, while working closely with our production, design and account teams to deliver on time and on brand.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form Reels and long-form videos from raw footage to final delivery
• Structure each video with clear storytelling, strong hooks and good pacing
• Add and sync accurate Arabic (and English when needed) subtitles
• Apply colour correction, audio cleanup and sound design for a polished finish
• Create motion graphics, text animations and transitions in line with each client's visual identity
• Follow the content plan and deliver videos on the agreed deadlines
• Apply client and team feedback efficiently within the agreed revision rounds
• Export and deliver videos in the correct formats for each platform (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat)
• Organize and archive project files according to SELF's naming system and Google Drive structure
• Keep task status updated on the team's project management system
• Stay up to date with social media trends and new editing styles

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Media, Film, Multimedia or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 2+ years of experience in video editing, preferably in an agency or social media environment
• Strong portfolio showing short-form and long-form edited work
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (or DaVinci Resolve)
• Good understanding of colour correction, audio editing and subtitling
• Native Arabic speaker with a good understanding of English
• Strong sense of storytelling, rhythm and visual detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Based in Jeddah

Nice to have

• Experience editing content for doctors or the healthcare sector
• Videography skills and the ability to support on-set shoots
• Experience with AI editing tools and auto-captioning workflows
• Familiarity with CapCut for fast social media edits
• Experience using project management tools
