Riyadh University of Arts (RUA) seeks a senior leader to direct its research, innovation, and entrepreneurship agenda. You will set strategic priorities, oversee central research services, allocate resources to centers and postgraduate programs, and guide governance, ethics, and data stewardship to maximize cultural and academic impact.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in research administration, innovation management, higher education leadership, or a related field.
• Demonstrated success in building research strategy, securing funding, and managing complex portfolios.
• Strong knowledge of governance, ethics, IP, partnership management, and commercialization pathways.

Responsabilités

• Direct the annual research, innovation, and entrepreneurship strategy and priorities in line with university strategy, national funding opportunities, and institutional impact goals.
• Drive a diversified funding pipeline across grants, industry, government, philanthropy, and internal seed funding.
• Oversee research information, repository, publication, open-access workflows, and data stewardship to strengthen discoverability and dissemination.
• Lead knowledge exchange pathways and partnerships to extend impact into policy, cultural, creative, and public engagement outcomes.
• Represent the function with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and delivery.

Formation

Master's degree or higher

PhD in related field (advantage)
