Job summary

Yallo Talent is seeking an experienced IT professional to manage and maintain Veeam backup and replication alongside storage administration. You will ensure data integrity through regular tests, collaborate with Level 3 support, and implement disaster recovery procedures in line with policy.

Responsibilities include optimizing backup schedules, training Level 1 technicians, and diagnosing storage hardware/software issues while monitoring capacity and performance across storage environments.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on Veeam Backup experience.
• Hands-on storage administration experience with Dell EMC, HPE and NetApp.
• Veeam certification is a plus.
• Willing to work Afternoon & Night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Backup & Storage Administration.
• Manage & maintain Veeam Backup & Replication environments for performance.
• Perform regular backup and restore tests to validate data integrity.
• Collaborate with Level 3 support and IT teams on complex issues.
• Implement and document DR procedures and policies.
• Optimize backup schedules and storage usage to reduce costs.
• Provide training and support to Level 1 technicians.
• Configure backup jobs to meet policy and SLA.
• Diagnose and resolve storage hardware/software issues.
• Monitor storage systems for availability, performance and capacity.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between hosts and storage.
• Perform switch administration and firmware upgrades.
• Investigate storage alerts, faults and hardware failures.
• Manage capacity for storage devices in the environment.
