Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage utility project designs, including water supply, wastewater, and stormwater systems.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prepare technical reports.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including project managers, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Review engineering drawings, plans, and specifications for compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor construction activities and perform site inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Identify and resolve any technical issues that may arise during project execution.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets.
- Promote safety and compliance with relevant regulations during project execution.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure overall project success.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- 8 to 12 years of experience in utilities engineering or related field.
- Strong understanding of utility systems, including water, wastewater, and drainage.
- Proficient in engineering design software such as AutoCAD and hydraulic modeling tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards in utility engineering.
