Job summary

EPAM Systems in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Business Analyst to join our Al Khobar team on-site. You will gather requirements, map workflows, and ensure governance for upstream digital transformation projects in the oil and energy sectors.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of BA experience, strong BPMN/UML skills, and fluency in English. The role offers working hours 9:00–18:00 with a focus on data-driven improvements and stakeholder alignment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Oil & Gas or large IT transformations.
• Knowledge of upstream processes, permitting, tie-in projects, and facilities shutdowns.
• Experience with BPMN/UML and ARIS toolset.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; multi-project management.
• Fluent English (B2+) communication.

Responsibilities

• Engage with SMEs and stakeholders to elicit and validate requirements.
• Translate needs into user stories, use cases and acceptance criteria.
• Model current vs target workflows for multiple systems.
• Define KPIs, reporting requirements and data attributes.
• Bridge business and development teams; ensure governance compliance.
• Prepare BRDs, functional specs and process diagrams.
• Maintain traceability of requirements through delivery.
• Support UAT with scenarios and test cases; manage change requests.
