Job summary

Team GDC ME is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to perform maintenance on UH-60M helicopters. The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma, military aircraft mechanic training, and at least three years of experience in aviation. Responsibilities include removing and installing aircraft systems, conducting inspections, and troubleshooting subsystems. Candidates must pass medical and drug tests and comply with Saudi Labor Law throughout their employment.

Job description

Location: Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Description

Performs aircraft maintenance tasks on the UH-60M as required using the specific OEM Operators Manual, Maintenance Test Flight Manual, Check List Manual, and any other directives pertinent to the environment. Removes and installs aircraft systems and subsystem assemblies and components including engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, mechanical flight controls and their components. Services and lubricates aircraft systems, subsystems, and components. Prepares aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks. Performs scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance actions. Uses common measuring tools, precision measuring gages and alignment fixtures. Performs aircraft and related components routine and special inspections. Performs maintenance operational checks. Diagnoses and troubleshoots aircraft subsystems using special tools and equipment as required. Uses and performs operator maintenance on tools, special tools and Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) Prepares aircraft maintenance forms and records. Ensures that all related operations are conducted in a safe manner. Potential for future training and transfer to AH-6i mechanic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three (3) years' experience as an aircraft mechanic on UH-60 series and five (5) years overall aviation experience.
• Graduate of a US Military aircraft mechanic maintenance course or civilian equivalent training and experience.
• Demonstrated past performance and experience in maintenance in UH60 Aircraft.
• Proficient in the use of computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms, and other aircraft related documentation.
• Proficient in MS Office software.
• Professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner.
• Possess a valid US issued driver's license and passport.
• Successfully pass an overseas deployment physical upon hire.

Medical Examination

Candidates must successfully complete all mandatory medical examinations required to obtain employment.

Criminal Record

To qualify for a Saudi Work Visa, candidates must have a clean criminal record with no prior convictions, as specified by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Drug and Alcohol Testing

Candidates must pass a drug test to be considered for employment. Additionally, our ATSS program enforces a random drug and alcohol testing policy. Employees will be subject to periodic testing to maintain adherence to our workplace standards and safety regulations.
