Job summary

Eram Talent seeks a Turbine & Precision Equipment Rigger to safely perform heavy lifting during outages and maintenance shutdowns. The role requires expert knowledge of engineered lifting plans, center of gravity calculations, and precise signaling in confined spaces.

Use of synthetic/wire-rope slings, shackles, spread beams, chain blocks, and lifting accessories is required, with strict adherence to safety standards on multi-million dollar equipment. 12-hour shifts are common during outages.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience as an industrial rigger.
• Experience with turbine outages, power plant shutdowns, or heavy mechanical maintenance preferred.
• Valid third-party rigging certifications (such as TUV, Bureau Veritas, Aramco, or equivalents) are highly preferred.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights; 12-hour shifts typical during outages.
• Strong teamwork, high attention to detail, and strict safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Rigging Execution: Safely attach, lift, guide, and position heavy turbine components per approved lifting plans.
• Pre-Lift Assessment: Review critical parameters, including total load weight and center of gravity.
• Equipment Management: Inspect rigging hardware such as slings, shackles, spread beams, and accessories.
• Compliance & Safety Verification: Audit lifting tackle for valid tags, inspection status, and WLL.
• Precision Maneuvering: Guide large loads through restricted areas with controlled signaling.
