Job summary

Client of Eram Talent seeks an experienced Turbine and Precision Equipment Rigger to execute critical heavy lifting during power plant outages and shutdowns. You will handle multi-million dollar rotating equipment in confined spaces, strictly following engineered lifting plans and zero-compromise safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in industrial rigging, preferably with turbine outage experience, and hold valid third-party rigging certifications.

Qualifications

• Rigging mathematics, center-of-gravity calculations, crane signals, and rigging hardware capacities.
• 3–5 years of industrial rigger experience, preferably turbine outages or heavy mechanical maintenance.
• Valid third-party rigging certifications (such as TUV, Bureau Veritas, Aramco) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rigging execution: safely attach lift, guide, and position heavy turbine components per engineered plans.
• Pre-lift assessment: review load weight, center of gravity, lifting points, path clearances, and landing arrangements.
• Equipment management: inspect rigging hardware including slings, shackles, spreader beams, and lifting accessories.
• Compliance: audit lifting tackle for IDs, inspection status, and WLLs.
• Precision maneuvering: guide loads through restricted areas with controlled signaling.
