Job summary

Dallah Health in Saudi Arabia seeks a Transportation Supervisor to oversee the car and light-duty fleet, ensuring safe, timely patient and staff transport. The role requires supervising staff, coordinating repairs with workshops, managing fuel coupons, and enforcing department policies to meet quality standards.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, dispatch schedules, and safety compliance, reporting to the Support Services Manager and FMS Director.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years recent experience as a car and light-duty vehicle driver, manual and automatic, with at least one year in a supervisor level.
• Desirable no history of prosecutions for serious driving offenses.
• High School Certificate.
• Valid Saudi Driving License.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt and safe transport service to hospital staff, patients, employees, dependents, and ensuring their safety.
• Keeps all hospital vehicles in good condition through proper care, repair and maintenance.
• Supervises and controls Transportation Division's day-to-day undertakings.
• Deals with the workshop for hospital car repair and maintenance.
• Deals with the gasoline station for the gasoline coupons issued to all drivers.
• Receives requisition papers with prior approval of the Support Services Manager.
• Signs necessary documents in the department.
• Gives instructions to Assistant Transportation Supervisor and drivers.
• Maintains good working environment within the department through cooperation.
• Dispatches vehicles and drivers as per approved trip schedule.
• Maintains hospital vehicles through regular check-up and repair.
• Reports damaged vehicles to the Support Services Manager for action.
• Implements policies and procedures to achieve the hospital's goals in pursuit of Standards of Care and Quality.
• Performs other tasks as directed by the Support Services Manager and FMS Director.
