Medtronic is offering an onsite 6‑month internship in Saudi Arabia within the Diabetes care team. Start 1 December 2026, 40h/week.

You will educate doctors, nurses and patients on diabetes management, support onboarding sessions and campaigns, manage hospital inventory, and assist logistics. Candidates must be in final year or recently graduated in healthcare, nutrition, health education, or related fields; fluent in Arabic and at least intermediate English (B1); proficient with MS Office; and

A Day in the Life

This position is an exciting opportunity to work with the Diabetes business. Medtronic announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and to reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic. The Diabetes division, now known as MiniMed, completed its IPO in March 2026. This separation provides our team with a bold opportunity to unleash our potential, enabling us to operate with greater speed and agility. As a separate entity, we anticipate leveraging increased investment to drive meaningful innovation and enhance our impact on patient care. While you will start your employment with Medtronic, upon completion of required local legal and employment processes, we expect your employment to transfer to MiniMed, subject to business needs and any applicable information and consultation requirements in your jurisdiction.

Internship details

• Start date: 1st December 2026
• Duration: 6 months
• Working hours: 40h/week with flexibility (exams and holiday period)
• Working model: onsite
• Based in Madinah (but could cover Yanbu if needed)

Responsibilities

• Provide support and education to doctors, nurses, and patients on diabetes management and our products, addressing their questions and needs.
• Participate in patient onboarding sessions and educational campaigns to improve diabetes awareness and care.
• Manage consignment inventory in hospitals and ensure timely replenishment of used items.
• Assist the logistics team during deliveries to ensure smooth operations.
• Travel within the local region to extend education and support efforts.

Required Knowledge and Experience

• Currently in the final year of studies or recently graduated with a degree in healthcare, nutrition, health education, or a related field
• Fluent in Arabic and at least intermediate (B1) level in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Sharepoint)
• Excellent organizational abilities with a customer-focused mindset
• Eager to learn, develop, and grow professionally

Would be a plus

• Experience working with patients
• Interest in Diabetes. Additional training or certifications in diabetes care are a strong plus.
• Driving license
