Responsibilities

• Drive trailers as assigned, following all safety regulations and traffic laws
• Load and unload cargo onto/from trailers
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues, reporting any problems
• Keep records of trips, including routes taken, cargo delivery times, vehicle maintenance issues, etc.
• Report any accidents or traffic violations to supervisors
• Follow company policies and procedures at all times
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle at all times

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid Class A/B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with trailer experience is required
• Must have a good driving record with no history of major traffic violations or accidents
• Knowledge of basic truck maintenance and safe driving practices
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
