Job summary

GDC Middle East in Riyadh seeks a Logistics/SCM professional to provide operational support across ordering, stocking, issuing, and receiving spares and consumables for the customer.

You will manage inventory, perform cycle counts, ensure on-time metrics, and supervise assigned personnel while maintaining safe, efficient supply chain processes.

Responsibilities

• Order, receive, inspect, stow, preserve, package, ship and issue materials.
• Unload incoming inventory from trucks; stock inventory onto shelf locations; pick inventory; prepare repair shipments to OEM; assembles kits; man window for issues/returns.
• Perform inventory cycle counts; research missing parts and report discrepancies; monitor shelf life to ensure consumables are on hand.
• Authority to select and implement goals and objectives within duties.
• Supervises, trains, and directs individuals as assigned to organization.
• Prepare and maintain forms, records, correspondence, reports, and files; ensure accuracy; meet on-time metrics.
• Load and unload material within a warehouse; use hand trucks, forklifts, hoists to move material.
• Monitor aircraft time-change components schedule to ensure replacement components are ordered timely.
• Monitor the repairable exchange program and ensure necessary documentation is complete.
• Ensure that all related parts supply operations are conducted safely and efficiently.
• Analyze inventory levels, production speed, and item demand to determine reorder levels.
• Inspects goods upon delivery to verify match to order; perform quality control; handle delays or discrepancies; quarantine defective parts.
• Analyze and select materials for packaging based on durability and cost; include hazmat and oversized items.
• Train customer personnel to develop and maintain an effective supply/parts regime.
• Schedules training events; obtain instructional materials; ensure trainees are kept up-to-date.
• All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Performs logistical support functions for the GDCME/MNG Logistics/Supply Chain Management (LSCM) organization. Ensures equipment operational readiness (OR) rates are met by means of ordering, accounting, stocking, issue, transfer, and receipt of spares and consumable parts and equipment assigned by the customer. Maintains and warehouses inventory and performs automated parts operations as well as packages goods for transport.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Order, receive, inspect, stow, preserve, package, ship and issue materials/cargo.
• Unload incoming inventory from trucks; stock inventory onto shelf locations; pick inventory; prepare repair shipments to OEM; assembles kits; man window for issues/returns.
• Perform inventory cycle counts; research missing parts and report any discrepancies. Monitor and track Class III (p) shelf life to ensure critical consumables are on hand prior to expiration on on-hand quantities.
• Performs within the broad guidelines of duties and responsibilities with significant choice of methods. Authority to select and implement goals and objectives within the execution of duties and responsibilities.
• Supervises, trains, and directs individuals as assigned to organization.
• Prepare and maintain required forms, records, correspondence, reports, and files; ensure proper documentation for accuracy; meet on-time metrics.
• Load and unload material within a warehouse or storage facility; utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, or other handling equipment to move material to and from aircraft and within the storage facility.
• Monitor aircraft time-change components schedule to ensure replacement components are ordered in a timely manner to meet the customer flying hour and maintenance requirements.
• Monitor the repairable exchange program and ensure all necessary documentation is complete.
• Ensure that all related parts supply operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
• Analyze inventory levels, production speed, and item demand to determine reorder levels to ensure stock availability and minimize inventory costs.
• Inspects goods upon delivery to verify delivered goods match order specifications; perform quality control; handle any delivery inconsistencies or delays; quarantine parts that fail inspection.
• Analyze and select materials for packaging based on durability and cost effectiveness to include HAZMAT and oversized/overweight items.
• Train customer personnel to develop and maintain an effective supply/parts management regime.
• Schedules training events; obtain instructional materials; ensures students are kept abreast of training requirements; perform clerical and administrative duties related to training and organizational development.
