Jobgether is partnering with a data-driven energy trading company to recruit a Data Scientist specialized in time series forecasting. The role focuses on building weather and market-forecasting models and translating them into production-grade code for a live trading platform.

You will work in a fully remote, distributed environment, collaborating with international teams. A strong foundation in quantitative methods, Python, SQL, and AI-assisted development will enable you to deliver measurable

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline or closely related field.
• At least 3 years of data science/forecasting experience.
• Proven time series forecasting experience and ability to translate methods into practical solutions.
• Strong Python and SQL skills for data analysis, model development, and production.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools and integration into workflows.
• Excellent English communication for remote, international collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and refine forecasting models for weather, energy prices, and grid demand.
• Translate forecasting algorithms into robust, production-ready code powering a live platform.
• Analyze datasets, identify patterns, and improve forecasting accuracy for trading decisions.
