Job summary

Mounee Consulting Services seeks a Testing & Commissioning Manager to lead commissioning activities across Saudi Arabia project sites. You will plan, supervise, and optimize testing strategies, ensuring compliance with IEC/IEEE standards and client requirements.

With 15+ years in electrical or mechanical engineering and solar project exposure, you will coordinate with OEMs and subcontractors, prepare commissioning documents, and support site engineers to deliver safe, on-time project milestones.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Electrical/Mechanical Engg with at least 15 years of experience.
• Minimum 2–3 years of Solar project experience; experience on large capacity projects (>500MW).
• Age above 35 years.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing and commissioning activities at Saudi Arabia-based sites.
• Prepare commissioning plans including cold startup, hot commissioning, and close-out.
• Coordinate commissioning with OEM and subcontractors.
• Prepare method statements for testing and SAT reports per IEC & IEEE standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Saudi grid code testing and SEC protocols.
• Coordinate with SEC departments and other teams.
• Provide technical support to site engineers and resolve testing issues.
• Attend technical meetings with clients to clarify scope and deliverables.
• Review plans with other departments for smooth testing progress.
• Coordinate testing activities with team and client inspections.
• Prepare manpower plan per project.
• Coordinate during client inspections.

Position Description Manager - T&C Department Testing & Commissioning Based At Saudi Arabia - Job sites

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Team management in project planning, execution, resources allocation, troubleshooting and customer interaction.
• Preparing Commissioning plans in sections like Cold commissioning start up, Hot commissioning & commissioning close out.
• Handling the Commissioning Co-ordination with OEM and sub-contractor.
• Preparing the method of statement for testing and SAT report as per the IEC & IEEE standards.
• Good Knowledge on Saudi Arabia grid code testing.
• Good Knowledge on SEC testing protocol and procedure and coordinating with Various SEC departments.
• Providing technical support to the site engineer
• Clarification and resolving of technical issues during testing & commissioning.
• Attending technical meetings with customer/end user for project scope of work and clarification
• Reviewing and coordinating with other departments for the smooth progress of testing plan
• Coordinating with subordinates for smooth progress of testing activities
• Clarifying the client inquiry with the support of manufacturer on time
• Preparation of project wise manpower plan
• Coordination during client inspection

• Ability to control Environmental, Safety, Health and Ethics during the testing and commissioning phases of the project.
• Must take full responsibility for his operation as per the job description and the required deliverables from this position, taking into consideration the general company guidelines.
• Able to anticipate problems and make the necessary proactive steps to prevent them.
• Ability to take necessary and proper timely decisions.
• Ability to conduct site commissioning inspections.
• Ability to conduct site safety inspections during testing and commissioning

Education & Experience

Graduate in Electrical/Mechanical Engg, having not less than 15 yrs experience. At least 2-3 yrs relevant working experience in Solar project. Should have handled above 500MW capacity Age > 35 Yrs
