Purpose of the position: As Telecom Engineer you will be part of the Asset Based Services Business Line within Instrumentation, Automation and Telecom dept. You will support us in Telecom design in EPC projects.

How can you support us?

• Conceptual, Basic/FEED and Detail engineering design for EPC projects with focus on Oil and gas Telecom Systems
• Support interfacing between Telecom systems and key vendors, including Digital System Integrator (DSI) and other EPC contractors.
• Ensure that Telecom engineering activities are conducted in accordance with project specifications and approved variations if any.
• Preparation of Telecommunication Engineering deliverables including Design Basis, Specifications for various Telecommunication Systems, System Block Diagrams, Datasheets, Material Requisition, Technical Bid evaluation and Vendor follow-up.
• Provide engineering Input to field design drawings prepared by designers such us Instrument/Device Location Plans, Cable Routing Layouts, Instrument/Device Installation Details, Interconnection Diagrams, Wiring Diagrams, Circuit & Connection Diagrams, Cable Block Diagrams and MDF/IDF Schematics, FO Allocation Diagrams, Device, Equipment Schedules etc.
• Co-ordinate with other disciplines and review of other discipline deliverables.
• Carryout onshore and offshore site surveys as required.
• Attend interface meetings with Clients and Vendors to progress design scopes.

What are we looking for?

Education: Master's Degree/bachelor’s degree in: Telecom Engineering, Computer Engineering or Electronics and Communications Engineering

Background: Preferably 1-2 years as a Telecom engineer, within Oil & Gas Plant

Technical Knowledge: Ms Office, preferred knowledge of AutoCAD and Bluebeam Software
