Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in proficiency testing, statistical analysis, or lab quality systems.
• Knowledge of ISO 13528 (Statistical Methods for PT) and ISO/IEC 17025 is a plus.
• Proficiency in statistical software: Minitab, R, SPSS, or advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork; English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical design, development, and execution of PT schemes.
• Perform statistical analysis of PT data using robust methods (z-scores, En-scores, robust means, SD).
• Ensure procedures comply with ISO/IEC 17043 and ISO 13528.
• Collaborate with scheme coordinators and quality management for smooth delivery.
• Provide technical expertise for preparation, homogeneity, and stability testing of PT samples.
• Develop and maintain statistical models and reporting formats for PT schemes.
• Prepare and issue final PT reports with clarity and scientific validity.
• Support accreditation assessments and respond to technical inquiries.
• Provide training to staff on statistical and technical aspects of PT.

Our client is a healthcare consulting firm that specializes in outsourcing regulatory affairs, clinical research, and other technical services for pharmaceutical, medical device, and food companies, is seeking to hire aexperienced and detail-oriented Technical & Statistical Manager to join their team in Riyadh.

The successful candidate will ensure that PT programs are designed, implemented, and analyzed in full compliance with ISO/IEC 17043 and ISO 13528, delivering accurate and reliable results to participating laboratories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the technical design, development, and execution of PT schemes.
• Perform statistical analysis of PT data using robust methods (z-scores, En-scores, robust means, standard deviations, etc.).
• Ensure that all technical and statistical procedures comply with ISO/IEC 17043 and ISO 13528 requirements.
• Collaborate with scheme coordinators and quality management to ensure smooth program delivery.
• Provide technical expertise to ensure proper preparation, homogeneity, and stability testing of PT samples.
• Develop and maintain statistical models and reporting formats for PT schemes.
• Prepare and issue final PT reports, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and scientific validity.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of international standards:
• ISO 13528 (Statistical Methods for PT)
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 is an advantage.
• Proficiency in statistical software such as Minitab, R, SPSS, or advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to prepare professional statistical and technical reports.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
