Job Purpose

The Technical Office Specialist is responsible for technical coordination, drawings, quantity take‑offs, specifications, and technical submittals for both spilk landscaping projects (Natural Life) and urban furniture & manufacturing products (Archilife).

The role ensures all works are technically compliant, accurately quantified, cost‑controlled, and aligned with approved designs and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Drawings_convocation
   • Prepare, review and update shop drawings, IFC drawings, and as‑built drawings.
   • Produce detailed sections, details and assembly drawings.
   • Coordinate architectural, structural and MEP drawings where applicable.
   • Ensure compliance with client specifications, Saudi codes, and municipality requirements.

2. Quantity Take‑Off & BOQs
   • Prepare accurate quantity take‑offs for precast concrete elements, fiberglass and artificial stone products, and landscaping works (hardscape & softscape).
   • Prepare and review BOQs, material schedules and production quantities.
   • Support pricing, cost control and variation calculations.
3. Technical Submittals & Approvals
   • Prepare complete technical submittal packages including product data sheets, material specifications, method statements, samples and mock‑up documentation.
   • Coordinate approvals with consultants, clients and authorities.
   • Track submittal status, comments and revisions.
4. Manufacturing & Production Support (Archilife)
   • Coordinate with factory teams on mold drawings, casting details, reinforcement layouts, finishes and tolerances.
   • Prepare production drawings and Bills of Materials (BoMs).
   • Ensure alignment between design intent and manufacturing execution.
   • Support installation detailing and fixing methods.
5. Project & Site Support (Natural Life)
   • Provide technical support to project managers, site engineers and supervisors.
   • Resolve site technical issues and discrepancies.
   • Prepare shop drawings for execution and as‑built documentation.
   • Support value engineering proposals and technical alternatives.
6. Odoo ERP Technical Coordination
   • Support product structuring and technical categorisation in Odoo.
   • Link drawings, BoMs, specifications and variants.
   • Assist in standardising technical data across projects and production lines.
7. Coordination & Communication
   • Act as a technical interface between sales, projects, factory and procurement teams.
   • Attend technical coordination meetings.
   • Support tender documentation and technical clarifications.

Qualifications

Rand
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or Construction/Industrial Engineering.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in landscaping projects and/or preclée/manufacturing environments.

Skills & Competencies

• High accuracy in quantity take‑offs and documentation.
• Understanding of precast, fiberglass, artificial stone and landscaping construction methods.
• Ability to coordinate between design, factory and site.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in technical English; Arabic is an advantage.
