Job summary

Halliburton seeks a Technical Professional in the HSE field to support global PSL/Region and function-level health, safety and environmental initiatives from our Jubail–Al Khobar area. Under supervision, you will help implement strategies, develop procedures, and drive continuous HSE performance improvements across multiple sites.

The role requires an undergraduate degree in HSE, Science, or Engineering and at least five years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Requires an undergraduate study in HSE related field, Science, or Engineering and 5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists with implementing global HSE strategies, policies, and processes.
• Position may be PSL-specific or span a large geographic area or function, requiring a specialty in a technical area.
• Assists with the implementation and oversight of the integrated management system that meets company and industry requirements.
• May serve as the technical or procedural advisor to other functional and operational counterparts.
• Interfaces with personnel at several levels providing leadership and coaching to improve HSE performance.
• Assists in developing procedures and implements processes to ensure compliance with standards and best practices.
• Participates in plan development, risk management, incident investigation, and performance assessments.
• Interfaces with business development, operations, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies, researching standards and providing reports.
• Maintains and updates site-specific compliance programs and conducts audits against requirements.

Job Duties

Under general supervision of Operation leadership, the Technical Professional is responsible for:

1. Assisting with the implementation of global PSL/Region/Support Function HSE strategies, policies, procedures and processes.
2. Position may be PSL-specific or assigned to a specific geography or support function, may span a large geographic area, or may require a specialty in a technical professional area.
3. Assists with the implementation and oversight of the integrated management system that at a minimum, meets the needs of the company and the requirements of industry standards.
4. May serve as the technical or procedural advisor to other functional and operational counterparts.
5. Interfaces with functional personnel at several levels providing leadership and coaching to facilitate continuous HSE performance improvement.
6. Assists in the development of procedures and implements processes which have been established to ensure compliance with applicable standards, requirements, processes and identified best practices.
7. Participates in plan development and implementation, proposal review, hazard identification and risk management, incident investigation and causal analysis, report review, and performance assessments.
8. Interfaces with business development, operations personnel, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies, researching and interpreting standards, codes and regulations and providing reports as required.
9. Must be able to maintain and update site specific compliance programs and conduct audits against the requirements.
