Lever, Inc. is seeking a Team Lead, Human Data Operations – Vision, Image & Video based in Saudi Arabia.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on building high-quality human data for AI systems and leading a team of AI Tutors to label, review, and evaluate visual data. You will own quality, establish operational standards, and drive KPI-driven improvements, collaborating with data, engineering, and operations teams to translate model requirements into effective labeling strategies and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with data quality metrics and guideline-driven processes.
• Familiarity with Notion, Axiom, JIRA, Linear.
• Knowledge of AI/machine learning concepts and training data.
• Experience leading small teams in data labeling, QA, or related ops.
• Strong communication and stakeholder alignment.
• Strong analytical skills with KPI-driven improvements; SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end quality and delivery for human data projects.
• Lead, coach, and manage AI Tutors with regular feedback.
• Participate in labeling and review activities to uphold quality.
• Manage guidelines, taxonomy, QA workflows, and certification standards.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement efficiency improvements.
• Track performance with KPIs and dashboards.
• Develop training materials and certification benchmarks.
• Collaborate with Human Data Managers, Team Leads, and Engineering.
• Foster high-performance culture and manage performance processes.
• Document outcomes, risks, and results; suggest improvements.
• Represent needs of AI Tutors within HDO.
