Job summary

Canon Emirates in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced tax professional to oversee comprehensive tax compliance, including CIT, VAT and WHT across multiple subsidiaries. You will liaise with stakeholders, ensure timely filing, and provide strategic tax advisory in a multinational environment.

The role requires strong IFRS/US GAAP/SOX knowledge, ACA/ACCA qualification, and solid experience with ERP and tax portals. Offshore and regional coordination will be essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in tax advisory or multinational environments.
• Led successful tax implementations in entities and organizations (CIT/VAT).
• Accounting knowledge (P&L, BS, CFF, Disclosures).
• Experience with tax portals, tax systems; ERP systems Orion and/or OneSource is a benefit.
• Finance or tax education at university level.

Responsibilities

• Monthly tax reviews of parent and subsidiaries tax registers and reconciliations.
• Monthly report to GFM and FD on tax health incl. submissions and declarations.
• Quarterly internal audit and compliance checks of all tax ledgers and gap analysis.
• Regular updates on tax rules and regulations for applicable jurisdictions.
• Manage tax audits (internal and external).
• Provide training to the business.
• Support IT for tax-related setups (CIT, WHT, VAT, other taxes).
