Role Information

Accountabilities
  1. Reviews all the system tax reports including VAT, Excise tax, Withholding tax to ensure that the reports are accurate and in compliance with Tax Law and company policies.
  2. Prepares the periodical reports about tax calculation in the assigned operating company and updates the records to ensure accuracy and timeliness of information.
  3. Prepares the submission of tax returns on time and in compliance of Tax laws as per the Government norms and prepares monthly reconciliations of Tax accounts to avoid any fines.
  4. Provides external and internal auditors with required data and respond to queries on timely manner to ensure that all their requirements are fulfilled.
  5. Organizes and updates the company’s tax database in order for retrieving any necessary documents (request any modification of the supplier’s status on the system) – compliance.
  6. Prepares necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns in order to ensure proper company representation.
  7. Keep proper documentation in place whenever required by tax authorities or auditors.
Role Specification
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Minimum two (2) years of professional experience specifically in tax accounting, along with a bachelor’s degree in finance.
  • Ability to execute and follow-through to completion and documentation.
  • Knowledge of ERP solution software preferably Oracle financials.
  • Holding Taxation certification in GCC or pass training courses in GCC VAT tax.
  • Well versed with the various Taxation policies of Saudi Arabia as computation, deposit due date, Credit set off, penalties, Interest and other charges.
