Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in agricultural engineering.
• Strong knowledge of soil science, water management, and irrigation systems.
• Familiarity with environmental sustainability practices in agriculture.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Certification or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project team to integrate agricultural and environmental considerations into the design of the steel structure building.
• Evaluate and propose agricultural systems aligned with project goals and environmental sustainability.
• Conduct soil analysis to determine suitability for farming and landscaping around the building.
• Implement soil management strategies for land use and fertility.
• Design and implement efficient irrigation systems for landscaping and agricultural components of the project.
• Propose water conservation strategies and water management techniques suitable for the project landscape.
• Identify and select plants and greenery that align with the project’s aesthetic and environmental objectives.
• Advise on environmentally friendly practices and technologies to support the project’s sustainability goals.
• Develop strategies for ecological preservation and biodiversity enhancement within the project scope.
• Work closely with architects, structural engineers and landscape designers to integrate agricultural components seamlessly into the overall project design.
• Coordinate with construction supervision teams to ensure successful implementation of agricultural elements during the construction phase.
