Job summary

Confidential Government in Riyadh is seeking an experienced SRM leader to drive supplier relationship management across strategic vendors, monitor performance, and deliver long-term value.

You will establish segmentation, lead business reviews, develop KPIs, oversee onboarding, mitigate risks, and collaborate with Procurement, Legal, and Finance to enable continuous improvement in service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field; master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in supplier relationship management, procurement or SCM, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and supplier management platforms.
• Fluent communication in Arabic and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier relationship management by developing strategies, policies, and frameworks.
• Establish segmentation criteria and tailored engagement plans for strategic suppliers.
• Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers; lead periodic business reviews.
• Define and monitor supplier KPIs and scorecards; oversee corrective actions.
• Oversee onboarding, qualification, and ongoing evaluation with stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate supplier risks including performance and continuity risks.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, Finance, and business teams to resolve issues.
• Drive supplier development, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with policies, contracts, and regulations.
• Lead SRM team and provide management reports on performance and risks.

Job description

Lead the supplier relationship management function by developing strategic supplier partnerships, monitoring supplier performance, and driving continuous improvement to support business objectives and ensure long-term value.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier relationship management strategies, policies, and frameworks.
• Establish supplier segmentation criteria and tailored engagement plans for strategic and critical suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and lead periodic business reviews.
• Define and monitor supplier performance KPIs and scorecards, and oversee corrective action plans.
• Oversee supplier onboarding, qualification, and ongoing evaluation in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate supplier risks, including performance, compliance, and business continuity risks.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Category Management, Legal, Finance, and business teams to resolve supplier issues and improve service delivery.
• Drive supplier development, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, contractual obligations, and applicable regulations.
• Lead and develop the SRM team and provide management reports on supplier performance, risks, and improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in supplier relationship management, procurement, or supply chain management, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience managing strategic suppliers, supplier performance, and supplier development programs.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and supplier management platforms.
• Professional certifications such as CIPS or CPSM are preferred.
• Strong communication skills in Arabic and English.
