Job summary

Gathern in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia seeks a Senior Strategic Planning & Performance Manager to lead end-to-end planning, OKR governance, and executive reporting built on a robust driver model.

You will own budgeting/forecasting, produce board-ready decks, ensure traceability of numbers, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive pricing, segmentation and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline is required.
• 5+ years of experience in strategy/operations within marketplaces, e-commerce or travel platforms.
• Demonstrated executive/board reporting experience with actionable decks and KPI trees.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets; build/audit multi-driver models end-to-end.
• Strong analytical skills are essential.
• Bilingual (Arabic/English) is preferred.
• KSA or GCC market experience in travel, hospitality or short-term rental.
• Exposure to OKR frameworks and planning practices.
• Experience in pricing, revenue management or customer segmentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and analysis for revenue, reservations, ARPR, SCR, ADR, LOS and take rate.
• Reconcile targets, actuals and variances monthly.
• Run diagnostics; attribute revenue gaps to drivers and assign actions with owners/dates.
• Build scenario and sensitivity models for pricing, segmentation and destination planning.
• Support annual/quarterly planning; set targets and monthly ramp.
• Own OKR planning: objectives, key results, initiative cards, milestones.
• Prepare executive reports and board materials with clear comments and consistent metrics.
• Be the quality gate on numbers; ensure traceability to sources and definitions.

JOB PURPOSE:

Own Gathern’s strategic planning and performance cycle end to end including the North Star driver model, the OKR and initiative portfolio planning, and the executive and board reporting built on top of them, so that leadership decisions are made on numbers that are current, reconciled and traceable to a driver.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Strategic planning and analysis

• Maintain the planning and analysis for the main including revenue, reservations, ARPR, SCR, ADR, LOS and take rate.
• Keeping targets, actuals and variances reconciled every month.
• Run diagnostic analysis that attributes revenue and reservation gaps to primary and supporting drivers, and convert the attribution into named actions with owners and dates.
• Build and maintain scenario and sensitivity models for pricing, segmentation and destination planning.
• Support the annual and quarterly planning cycle, including target setting and the monthly ramp.

Performance management

• Own the OKR planning: objectives, key results, initiative cards, scoring and milestone tracking.
• Run the monthly performance cycle and data cut-off, variance review, commentary drafting and publication to a
• fixed calendar.
• Ensure all the commitments and initiative are translated into the required performance outcome.
• Maintain the metric definitions library and enforce definition consistency across every published report.

Executive and board reporting

• Produce the monthly executive report, the quarterly one-pager and board materials to a consistent standard: action titles, three to four lines of commentary, and internally consistent metrics.
• Prepare pre-reads and decision papers for the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors.
• Act as the quality gate on numbers leaving the department. No figure is published that cannot be traced to a source and a definition.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, finance or a related quantitative discipline.
• 5+ years of experience, including strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or a strategy or business-operations function inside a marketplace, e-commerce or travel platform.
• Demonstrable executive and board reporting: action-titled decks, one-pagers and KPI trees.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets, able to build and audit a multi-driver model end to end.
• Analytical skills is a must.
• Bilingual is preferred (Ar, En).
• KSA or wider GCC market experience, particularly in travel, hospitality or short-term rental.
