Job summary

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an Executive Director for the Sports Strategic Business Unit to shape planning and coordination of major games and events in the city, aligned with Vision 2030. You will lead executive relationships with governments, federations and partners, building a high-performing team and ensuring readiness for events such as the Asian Games and FIFA World Cup.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of senior leadership in major sporting events or large-scale projects.
• Proven track record in bidding, planning or delivering mega-events.
• Strong understanding of Vision 2030 and sport/tourism goals.
• Ability to build and scale teams and drive cross-functional programs.
• Executive-level relationship management with governments, federations and partners.

Responsibilities

• Own the sports strategy and oversee planning of major games and events.
• Lead executive relationships with government entities and rights holders.
• Build teams, governance structures, and resourcing plans.
• Ensure event readiness, timelines and budget adherence.
