Job summary

Air Products is seeking a Buyer based in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, reporting to the Sr. Buyer. You will evaluate suppliers by price, quality and delivery speed, conduct vendor interviews and visits, and manage the buying process to meet cost, quality and delivery targets.

The role requires minimum 5 years in purchasing/logistics, a degree or diploma, and SAP experience. You will work on-site in Jubail with a focus on supporting plant operations and supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or diploma minimum in business, engineering or technical disciplines.
• Proficiency in English (reading and writing).
• Knowledge of SAP (ERP) is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop purchasing strategies and identify buying trends to keep the business profitable.
• Negotiate policies and contracts with suppliers and manage deliveries per contracts.
• Monitor stock levels and verify purchase requisitions, maintaining records and reports.
• Provide technical/commercial assistance to request departments to understand manufacturing processes.
