Tools & Solutions in the GCC is seeking a Senior IT Planning and Strategy professional to lead the development, execution, and governance of the IT strategy, aligning with business goals and digital transformation initiatives.

The role demands strong financial planning, stakeholder management, and extensive experience in IT planning, budgeting, and portfolio management, with a focus on measurable executive reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Business or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in IT strategy, IT planning, or PMO.
• Proven ability to develop IT strategies, roadmaps, and budgeting in large organizations.
• Strong know-how in IT portfolio management, budgeting, and investment management.
• Experience presenting strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Excel, and portfolio management tools.
• Experience leading digital transformation, AI, cloud, and enterprise-wide initiatives is preferred.
• Certifications (TOGAF/ITIL/COBIT/PMP/Lean Six Sigma) are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, review, and execution of the organization's long-term IT strategy.
• Own and manage annual IT planning and budgeting cycles, including roadmaps and resource forecasting.
• Collaborate with executives to optimize IT investments and business value.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends for strategic opportunities.
• Oversee IT portfolio planning and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Establish IT KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics for executives.
• Coordinate with Enterprise Architecture to keep roadmaps aligned with capabilities.
• Provide recommendations on digital transformation, AI, cloud, and new tech.
• Prepare executive reports, board presentations, and business cases.
• Mentor junior staff on IT planning, governance, and initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement in IT planning processes and portfolio management.
