Job summary

Saipem is seeking a Senior Cost Control Engineer to join the Project Control and Project Risk Management area, responsible for the economic and financial control of complex, high‑value projects. The role requires solid experience in project environments, strong analytical skills and the ability to liaise with Project Managers, AFC, Procurement and Contract Management.

The candidate will manage the project cost control system, provide timely data, and support governance through reliable reporting

Qualifications

• Solid experience as Cost Control Engineer or Project Control Engineer or similar roles in EPC/Oil & Gas/Engineering environments.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, cost reporting, cash flow and variance analysis.
• Advanced knowledge of project control, budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up, manage and update the project cost control system in line with procedures and contractual requirements.
• Define and maintain Cost Breakdown Structure and budget allocation.
• Analyze Original and Revised Budget, highlight deviations and critical areas.
• Monitor actual costs, commitments, accruals, progress, earned value and value of work done.
• Prepare forecasts including Estimate at Completion and Estimate to Completion.
