Qualifications

• Significant relevant professional electrical/mechatronic/automotive experience.

• Experience with HV environment and battery or drive unit systems.

Responsibilities

• Supports component and vehicle level troubleshooting using diagnostic tools.
• Supports RCA and tests for complex system-level problems.
• Performs lineside trials to verify equipment compatibility and RCA activities.
• Conducts board-level preliminary PCBA analysis and teardown of electrical systems.
• Supports prototype builds, trials, troubleshooting and RCA of multi-variable issues with Engineers.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Sr Hardware Technician PWT as part of product engineering organization in the plant The candidate will work with multi-disciplinary teams to drive product specification related investigations to resolution for the products in production Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches their work with vigor and determination Candidate will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for impactful results in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities

Supports component system vehicle level troubleshooting using standard communication diagnostic tools Canalyzer Canape etc RCA test benchesSupports RCA of complex component system level problems using standard problem-solving techniquesSupports lineside trials to verify process equipment compatibility amp RCA activitiesResponsible for board level preliminary PCBA board analysisSupports audits against design intent assembly requirements of Drive Unit beyond control planExecute prototype builds trials troubleshooting amp RCA of product multi-variable issues in close collaboration with Engineers on the teamSupport vehicle upfits amp tests on as needed basis in close collaboration with Engineers on the team

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma with significant relevant professional experience. Preferred: Technical or Vocational Degree or Certificate. Minimum of 5 years of electrical, mechatronic, or automotive technician experience. Experience using vehicle & system level communication or diagnostic tools for troubleshooting multi-variable complex issues Experience troubleshooting power electronics components/assemblies at the PCBA board level Awareness of HV Battery Packs, HV Harnesses, Onboard charging unit, Drive Unit, Inverter Power Electronics & associated troubleshooting at the system & product level Prior Experience working with High Voltage environment
