Job summary

Alfanar Precast in Riyadh seeks a Senior Engineer for Technical and Detailing Finishing. You will supervise construction, planning, site contractors, and ensure finishes align with design and client expectations.

You will coordinate between architectural finishes and MEP, review shop drawings, and manage subcontractors to keep the project on track while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Architectural Engineering required.
• 10–15 years of work experience in architectural finishing.
• Strong coordination with architectural finishes, MEP and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with suppliers/vendors/subcontractors for timely approvals and submissions.
• Coordinate between architectural finishes, MEP services and subcontractors.
• Review shop drawings and ensure fully coordinated drawings for execution.
• Study interactions between trades and raise RFIs as needed.
• Manage productivity of architectural works to match the schedule.
• Develop site logistics and mobilization/demobilization plans.
• Identify project risks and develop contingency plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Job Purpose

Supervise the project construction, planning, site contractors, and ensure work is completed to a satisfactory standard. Supervise the architecture, hardscape and softscape. Ensure client satisfaction throughout the project

Key Accountability Areas

• Liaise with suppliers/vendors/subcontractors for timely submission and follow up to obtain consultant timely approvals for material, samples, mock ups, shop drawings
• Coordinate between architectural finishes, MEP services and subcontractors for proper execution of finishing works
• Reviewing shop drawings, details of finishes and coordinate the produced shop drawings made by different subcontractors to result in fully coordinated shop drawing ready for execution.
• Study the details of interactions between different trades and raise RFls on discrepancies and provide solutions to facilitate the approval of consultants
• Manage the productivity of the architectural works to match the schedule of works set by the general contractor
• Develop site logistics (mobilization / demobilization) plans
• Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate negative impacts on project.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the construction process.

Academic Qualification
