Job summary

Oman OnlineConnect is seeking a dedicated Speech Therapist in Medina to provide speech-language therapy to patients of all ages. You will assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, developing individualized plans and supporting families throughout the process.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, maintain meticulous documentation, and stay updated on new techniques. This is a part-time role with potential to transition to full-time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Speech Therapist.
• English fluency required; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose communication disorders and determine appropriate treatment plans for patients.
• Develop individualized therapy goals and treatment plans based on each patient’s specific needs.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to help patients improve their speech language and communication skills.
• Use articulation exercises, language drills, and augmentative communication devices to facilitate progress.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document sessions.
• Collaborate with doctors, teachers, and parents to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families on techniques for improving communication skills outside of therapy sessions.
• Stay up-to-date on new research and techniques in speech-language pathology.

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Speech Therapist to join our team in Medina. As a Speech Therapist you will be responsible for providing speech-language therapy services to patients of all ages who have communication disorders. You will work closely with patients and their families to develop individualized treatment plans and provide support and guidance throughout the therapy process.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose communication disorders and determine appropriate treatment plans for patients
• Develop individualized therapy goals and treatment plans based on each patients specific needs
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to help patients improve their speech language and communication skills
• Use a variety of techniques such as articulation exercises language drills and augmentative communication devices to facilitate progress in patients
• Monitor patient progress adjust treatment plans as needed and document all sessions according to best practices
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as doctors teachers and parents to ensure comprehensive care for patients
• Educate patients and their families on techniques for improving communication skills outside of therapy sessions
• Stay up-to-date on new research techniques and technology in the field of speech-language pathology

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Speech Therapist
• Experience working with patients of all ages is preferred
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds
• Strong analytical skills to assess patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
• Fluency in English is required fluency in additional languages is a plus

Salary

Competitive salary package of 1800$ per month
