Job summary

Moyasar Financial Company is hiring a Software Engineer – Full Stack to join our engineering team in Riyadh. You will work across the full application stack, using Ruby on Rails to build backend services, APIs, web apps, and user-facing features.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Sidekiq; enjoys solving problems, writing clean code, and collaborating with product and design to deliver high-quality features for fintech payments platforms.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Professional experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
• Experience developing full-stack web applications.
• Good understanding of MVC architecture and software engineering principles.
• Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational database concepts.
• Experience with Redis.
• Experience with background job processing using Sidekiq.
• Experience with frontend web development.
• Experience with Git and version-control workflows.
• Experience writing automated tests.
• Good understanding of clean code principles and maintainable software architecture.
• Understanding of application performance, scalability, and security.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Ruby on Rails.
• Develop and improve frontend features and user-facing web applications.
• Design, build, maintain, and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Work with PostgreSQL to design data models and write efficient database queries.
