Job summary

OPXO Group, a Riyadh-based technology company, is hiring a Software Engineer for a full-time remote role. You will design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions that power OPXO Group’s digital products, AI tools, and automation platforms.

Responsibilities include building backend services and APIs, writing clean code, and reviewing for quality and security. You will collaborate with product, design, and data teams and contribute to architectural decisions while maintaining documentation

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in CS, including data structures and algorithms.
• Hands-on software development with modern languages/frameworks.
• Proficiency in backend web development and APIs.
• Solid understanding of OOP concepts in production systems.
• Experience with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization is beneficial.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and debug effectively.
• Able to work autonomously in a remote environment.
• Bachelor's in CS/Software Eng or equivalent experience.
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams and interest in AI/automation is a plus.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Software Engineer. The Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions that support OPXO Group’s digital products, AI-powered tools, and automation platforms. Day-to-day tasks include implementing back-end services and APIs, writing clean and efficient code, reviewing code for quality and security, and troubleshooting issues in production and development environments. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams in product, design, and data, participating in technical discussions, and contributing to architectural decisions. The Software Engineer will be expected to follow best practices in software engineering, maintain documentation, and continuously improve system performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Hands-on experience in Software Development and Programming using modern languages and frameworks.
• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including building and maintaining APIs and server-side applications.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and their application in production systems.
• Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies is beneficial.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and perform effective debugging and performance optimization.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and interest in AI, automation, or creative technology is a plus.
