Job summary

Tractebel, Owner's Engineer for the Al Khushaybi BESS IPP, seeks a Site Scheduling & Planning Engineer to manage project schedules, monitor contractor progress, and coordinate interfaces at the Al Khushaybi site in the Qassim Region, Saudi Arabia.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Scheduling & Planning, Substation and BESS experience in KSA, and professional certification; familiarity with schedule risk assessment and recovery planning is a plus; the project showcases 500 MW over 4 hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Scheduling & Planning is mandatory.
• Substation and BESS-related experience in KSA is required.
• Professional certification in scheduling/planning is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the project schedule to ensure timely progress.
• Monitor contractor schedule updates and validate reported progress.
• Identify critical paths and highlight potential delays.
• Prepare weekly and monthly schedule performance reports for Owner.
• Conduct schedule risk assessments and propose mitigations.
• Review contractor recovery plans and assess improvement feasibility.
• Coordinate discipline interfaces to maintain sequencing.
• Analyze change impacts and support delay claim evaluations.
• Validate look-ahead schedules against baseline programme.
• Track manpower and equipment resources against planned curves.
