Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Riyadh is seeking a Site HSE Specialist to supervise and implement EHS policies and safety plans on our construction site. You will conduct daily inspections, identify hazards, and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly to protect workers.

Responsibilities include toolbox talks, inductions, training, JSA/Risk Assessments, and monitoring compliance with PPE, PTW, LOTO, and working at height. Lead incident investigations and drive continuous HSE improvement.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and implement EHS policies, procedures, and site safety plans.
• Conduct daily site inspections, safety observations, and workplace risk assessments.
• Identify hazards and ensure appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct Toolbox Talks, safety inductions, and regular HSE training.
• Monitor compliance with PPE, PTW, LOTO, working at height, lifting, excavation, and confined-space requirements.
• Ensure proper implementation of Job Safety Analysis (JSA) / Risk Assessments / Method Statements.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and prepare reports.
• Maintain and monitor HSE statistics, KPIs, inspection reports, and safety records.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness, drills, fire safety, and evacuation procedures.
• Monitor contractors and subcontractors for compliance with project HSE requirements.
• Conduct regular site audits and follow up on corrective actions.
• Ensure proper environmental practices, including waste management, pollution prevention, and spill control.
• Liaise with project management, clients, consultants, and government authorities on HSE matters.
• Stop unsafe work when necessary and ensure hazards are rectified before work resumes.
• Support continuous improvement of the project's HSE culture and performance.
• Strong leadership, communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a site-based and multicultural environment.
