Job summary

Koch Engineered Solutions seeks a QA/QC Project Engineer – Mechanical to support quality execution across mechanical, fabrication, installation and welding for oil & gas projects in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. 70–80% at project sites with potential relocation across the Middle East.

You will ensure adherence to procedures, codes and customer quality requirements for safe, right-first-time execution. You will work with project and site teams to maintain quality records, support handover, and

Qualifications

Experience with mechanical, piping, static equipment installation and welding quality in oil & gas or industrial projects.
Knowledge of ASME, API, AWS and ISO codes and standards.
Ability to interpret engineering and quality documentation (P&IDs, isometrics, drawings, weld maps, ITPs, WPSs, PQRs, material certificates).

Responsibilities

Drive quality execution for site mechanical, welding, fabrication and installation activities.
Implement project quality documentation including Quality Plans, ITPs, Method Statements and repair procedures.
Ensure effective quality control across material receipt, fabrication, fit-up, welding, erection, testing and mechanical completion.
Maintain welding quality through control of WPSs, PQRs, welder qualifications and weld maps.
Coordinate and witness inspection and NDT activities (RT, UT, MT, PT) and support pressure testing and final handover.
