The Role

Surbana Jurong is seeking a Site Electrical Engineer (PMC) to join the JEDCO project in Jeddah. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising all site electrical works, ensuring that installation, testing, and commissioning activities meet project specifications, quality requirements, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect electrical installation works, including switchgear, transformers, cabling, lighting, and earthing systems.
• Review electrical design drawings, vendor submissions, and material approvals for compliance.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to HSE and QA/QC requirements.
• Support testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Coordinate with mechanical, I&C, and commissioning teams to ensure system integration.
• Maintain site records, inspection reports, and daily progress logs.

Key Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in site supervision and commissioning of electrical works within infrastructure or power projects.
• Experience in PMC or Owner’s Engineer roles preferred.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, LV/MV/HV distribution, and relevant standards.
