Are you an ambitious and technically skilled Electrical Engineer looking to grow your career on large-scale construction projects? We are seeking a Dry Utilities Engineer / Site Electrical Engineer to join our Supervision Services team.

In this pivotal role, you will act as a key technical advisor on-site, ensuring that all electrical and dry utility installations adhere strictly to project specifications, quality control (QC) procedures, and international standards.

What You Will Do (Core Responsibilities):
  • Technical Review & Approval: Review and verify the accuracy of shop drawings, material submittals, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ), notifying the Project Management team of any technical discrepancies.
  • On-Site Supervision: Closely supervise the installation of electrical equipment and dry utilities, conducting daily inspections and ensuring the work carried out by contractors and subcontractors meets all approved project specifications.
  • Documentation & Coordination: Efficiently process daily site information, including Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and site instructions. Attend technical and progress meetings to ensure smooth project flow.
  • Material Compliance: Verify that all materials delivered to the site and store are compliant with the approved material submittals.
  • Progress & Payment Verification: Monitor overall site progress. Review contractor payment applications, accurately comparing submitted percentages against the actual work completed on site and raising any discrepancies for action.
  • Quality & Safety Assurance: Ensure strict adherence to QC procedures on site. Work closely with the Senior HSSE Engineer to monitor all safety aspects of the project.
  • Client & Third-Party Liaison: Support Project Managers in managing client expectations, responding to technical clarifications, and coordinating necessary inspections by third parties.
What You Will Bring (Mandatory Skills & Qualifications):
  • Education: Minimum requirement of a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering. Chartered Professional Engineering certification or equivalent is highly preferred.
  • Experience:
    • A minimum of 3+ years of total experience in a construction or construction supervision function.
    • Specific experience (3+ years) in an engineering role within a contracting company or a construction supervision function is essential.
    • Prior experience working within the Middle East is required.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Strong knowledge of construction supervision services and dry utility installation procedures.
    • Solid understanding of international engineering standards and codes.
  • Core Competencies: Strong attention to detail, excellent planning/organization skills, and robust time management abilities.
  • Language: Proficiency in both spoken and written Arabic and English is mandatory.
