Job summary

Khatib & Alami is seeking a Site Engineer - Civil in Riyadh to join the supervision services team. You will act as a technical adviser on construction sites, monitor progress, and ensure work aligns with K&A specifications and QC procedures.

Responsibilities include reviewing submittals, RFI handling, and coordinating shop drawings, with a focus on safety and timely delivery. Proficiency in Arabic and English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Chartered Professional Engineering certification or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Review and supervise site activities per K&A specs and QC procedures
• Support Project Managers with client relations and clarifications
• Inspect shop drawings, submittals, and RFI records
• Monitor site progress and ensure safety compliance
• Attend progress meetings and coordinate with contractors
• Notify contractor of revisions and verify payments against on-site work
• Ensure materials meet approved submittals and supervise installations
• Coordinate third-party inspections as required

Job Title: Site Engineer - Civil (General Application) Start Date: 1-December-2026 Job Location: Riyadh

Job Summary

The Site Engineer- Civil is a junior member of the supervision services team. He acts as a technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, contractors and site team. The jobholder monitors site progress and makes sure that the work carried is as per K&A specification and QC procedures. He processes daily site information, such as Submittals, RFI's and Shop drawings.

• Ensure responsibilities are fulfilled with a high quality and in a cost-effective manner

Key Responsibilities (Customer Focus)

• Support Project Managers with managing client relations and expectations, as needed
• Support Project Managers with responding to client clarifications on technical and contractual issues, as needed
• Support Project Managers with organizing inspections by third parties, as needed
• Ensure client satisfaction with construction supervision services

Key Responsibilities (Internal Business Process)

• Review shop drawings, materials submittals and bills ofquantities for accuracy of calculations.
• Notify theAssociate Project Manager of any discrepancies.
• Supervise the installations of equipment on site.
• Closely work with the project team to carry outall inspection subject to the daily form submitted bycontractor.
• Ensure that the materials at store are according to theapproved materials submittals.
• Attend technical and progress meetings to discuss andshare relevant information for the smooth progress ofthe construction project.
• Monitor site progress; make sure that the work carriedon site is as per K&A specification and QC procedures.
• Notify the Contractor of any necessary revisions.
• Review the contractor payment and compare thepercentages submitted by the contractor with the actualon site.
• Raise any discrepancies to the Contractor foraction.
• Monitor all safety aspects of the project and ensure strictadherence to the safety regulations as dictated by theSenior HSSE Engineer.
• Issue letters, site instructions and NCR, as necessary.
• Implement corporate policies and procedures.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Chartered Professional Engineering certification or equivalent is preferred
