Job summary

Aujan Interiors is seeking a Civil Engineer to supervise and coordinate on-site activities in Abqaiq, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience, with at least 3 years in Saudi Arabia. Qualifications

• Experience in contracting with Saudi Aramco projects is preferable.
• Valid Saudi driving license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Ensure civil works are carried out per approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor site progress and report status to the Project Engineer.
• Verify site conditions and resolve civil/structural technical issues.
• Ensure proper allocation of manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Conduct site inspections for quality compliance.
• Coordinate with QA/QC personnel for inspections and testing.
• Monitor work activities for safety compliance.
• Review construction drawings for discrepancies.
• Assist in quantity verification and material take-offs.
• Maintain daily site records and documentation.
• Participate in client and site coordination meetings.
• Support the Project Engineer in achieving project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site activities to ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.


• Ensure all civil works are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, procedures, and applicable standards.


• Monitor site progress and report work status, delays, and resource requirements to the Project Engineer.


• Verify site conditions and resolve technical issues related to civil and structural works.


• Ensure proper allocation and utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials at the site.


• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.


• Coordinate with QA/QC personnel for inspections, testing, and closure of punch items.


• Monitor work activities to ensure compliance with safety requirements and company procedures.


• Review construction drawings and identify discrepancies or conflicts before execution.


• Assist in quantity verification, material take-offs, and progress measurements.


• Maintain daily site records, work reports, and documentation related to project activities.


• Participate in client and site coordination meetings as required.


• Support the Project Engineer in achieving project objectives related to schedule, quality, safety, and productivity.


• Ensure all assigned works are completed within the approved project schedule and quality requirements.
