About the role
We are hiring two Site Engineers to lead field execution across a diversified portfolio of commercial, industrial, and residential facilities — showrooms, factories, offices, warehouses, and staff accommodation.
This is a dual-function role. Each Site Engineer manages two Foremen and their trade crews, and handles fit-out and renovation projects alongside routine and emergency maintenance, interchangeably. There is no separate maintenance team — the same crews flex between planned project work and reactive callouts, allocated daily through a central dispatch desk. The role reports to the Operations Manager and draws on the Engineering & Consulting department for technical guidance.
It suits an engineer who is genuinely field-based rather than office-based, comfortable switching between a scheduled fit-out programme and an emergency breakdown in the same day, and able to hold a multi-national trade workforce to standard.
What you will do
Site supervision and execution
- Supervise daily execution of fit-out, renovation, and maintenance work across assigned sites
- Coordinate two Foremen and their trade crews, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to specification
- Conduct daily site inspections to verify workmanship, material usage, and compliance with drawings and specifications
- Resolve on-site technical issues; escalation complex problems to the Operations Manager or Engineering
Project coordination
- Assist in preparing project plans, schedules, and material requirements
- Track progress on assigned sites and report status, delays, and issues
- Coordinate material deliveries, equipment needs, and subcontractor activities
- Maintain project documentation — daily logs, progress photos, punch lists, handover records
Maintenance oversight
- Oversee routine and emergency maintenance assigned through the dispatch desk
- Ensure work orders are completed within agreed response and resolution times
- Conduct post-completion inspections before sign-off
- Report recurring issues and recommend preventive action
Workforce coordination
- Manage daily crew assignments in coordination with the dispatch desk
- Monitor attendance, productivity, and overtime of assigned Foremen and crews
- Provide on-the-job coaching and technical guidance
- Report performance issues and recommend corrective action
Safety and compliance
- Enforce site safety standards across all assigned work
- Conduct toolbox talks and pre-work safety briefings
- Report and document incidents; participate in investigations
What we are looking for

- Experience supervising multi-trade crews — civil, electrical, plumbing, and finishing trades
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and BOQs
- Familiarity with work order systems and preventive maintenance scheduling
- GCC experience preferred
- English required; Arabic an advantage; Hindi or Urdu useful for workforce communication
How you will be measured
- Assigned projects and maintenance tasks completed on time and to standard
- Accuracy and timeliness of daily site reporting
- Trade crew utilization on assigned sites
