Job summary

Al Sharif Contracting & Commercial Development Co. Ltd. is seeking a Site Accountant to manage petty cash and daily financial transactions across multiple Saudi project sites.

The role requires 2–3 years of accounting experience, proficiency in Excel and ERP systems, and the ability to travel between sites. You will coordinate with the Finance Department for payments and reporting and ensure adherence to company policies and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Experience as Site Accountant is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
• Experience with petty cash, expense tracking, and reconciliations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel and relocate between sites in Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control project petty cash in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Record, verify, and post daily financial transactions and site-related expenses.
• Prepare petty cash reconciliations and monthly financial reports.
• Process invoices, employee reimbursements, and payment requests.
• Monitor project expenditures and ensure they remain within the approved budget.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all supporting documents are properly filed.
• Coordinate with the Finance Department regarding payments, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Assist in preparing cost reports and budget tracking for project management.
• Support internal and external audits by providing the required financial documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies, internal controls and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers and site teams on financial and administrative matters.
• Perform any other accounting or finance-related duties assigned by management.
• Travel and relocate between project sites across Saudi Arabia as required by business needs.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel and relocate between project sites and cities across Saudi Arabia as required.
