Job summary

Saudi FCC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Al Khobar Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial activities, ensuring accurate records, timely reporting, and compliance with Saudi financial and tax regulations.

The ideal candidate should have solid experience in the contracting/construction sector and be capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Saudi Arabia.
• At least 3 years of experience with a contracting/construction company.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Good knowledge of Saudi VAT and ZATCA requirements.
• Strong MS Office skills and experience with accounting/ERP systems.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable including invoices, payments, and collections.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, reconciliations, and accounting statements.
• Monitor expenses, cash flow, and project-related financial transactions.
• Review and verify invoices, purchase orders, and supporting financial documents.
• Assist with VAT, ZATCA and other Saudi regulatory requirements.
• Perform bank, supplier, customer and general ledger reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Coordinate with procurement, projects, HR and other departments regarding financial matters.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
• Assist with audits and provide required financial information and supporting documents.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, procedures and applicable Saudi regulations.
