Job summary

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is seeking a SHE Coordinator to oversee and drive all safety, health and environment activities for their area of responsibility. The role requires implementation of the SHE policy and management system across operating locations.

You will investigate major incidents, audit arrangements, monitor performance, provide advice on legal requirements, and support training initiatives to ensure compliance with Group standards and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Candidates must demonstrate appropriate qualifications and experience and eligibility to register with the MHRSD as either an Occupational Health & Safety Practitioner or as a Professional.
• Technical knowledge to support all business aspects deployed in; manufacturing, multi-site operations, contractor management, leisure facilities, and hazardous substances.
• Key behavioural competencies: communications, influencing, resilience, seeking information, analytical thinking, IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and drive all SHE related activities for the area of responsibility.
• Investigate major incidents and assist in accident/near-miss investigations.
• Audit SHE arrangements and monitor performance across locations.
• Provide interpretation of legal requirements to managers and staff.
• Advise across the business on SHE policy, standards and procedures.
• Support SHE Coordinators with application of policy and standards.
