The ServiceNow Architect will design and manage the architecture of our IT systems, ensuring that technology aligns with business goals to improve service delivery and operational efficiency. This role acts as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions, facilitating understanding and collaboration among teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Architecture and Design:
- Define and own the end-to-end ServiceNow platform architecture aligned with enterprise IT strategy and business objectives.
- Design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions across ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps).
- Establish architectural standards, design patterns, and best practices for ServiceNow implementations.
Technical Leadership:
- Act as the primary technical authority for ServiceNow, guiding development teams and reviewing solution designs.
- Provide architectural oversight for custom applications, integrations, workflows, and data models.
Integration and Data Strategy:
- Design and govern integrations between ServiceNow and external systems (e.g., ERP, IAM, monitoring tools).
- Define data models and ensure data integrity and performance across the platform.
Governance, Security, and Compliance:
- Define and enforce platform governance, including role-based access controls and security policies.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements.
Platform Optimization and Lifecycle Management:
- Lead platform upgrades, patch strategy, and technical roadmaps.
- Evaluate new ServiceNow releases and features, recommending adoption based on business value.
Stakeholder and Business Engagement:
- Translate business requirements into technical architecture and solutions.
- Collaborate with business leaders to align ServiceNow capabilities with business outcomes.
Mentorship and Enablement:
- Mentor developers and junior architects on ServiceNow architecture and development standards.
- Support capability building and continuous improvement within the ServiceNow practice.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 7-10 years in IT, with significant experience in ServiceNow architecture.
- Certifications:
- Certified System Administrator
- Certified Implementation Specialist for CSM or FSM
- Architect Excellence accreditation
- Implementation experience on 5+ CRM projects (CRM)
