Zahid Industries is seeking a maintenance technician to perform routine and corrective maintenance on oil-injected and oil-free air compressors. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and document operating parameters to ensure reliable performance.

This role requires mechanical and electrical skills, hands-on tool use, and adherence to safety protocols. English literacy is required, Arabic is a plus, and on-site work in Saudi Arabia is expected.

Formación

• Diploma or degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Basic mechanical/electrical diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Experience with maintenance, overhaul and repair of industrial equipment; oil compressor experience preferred.
• English literacy; Arabic-speaking as added value.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect compressors and dryers for general condition.
• Evaluate parts for reusability and repair needs.
• Ensure high-quality equipment repair both in-house and in the field.
• Complete required paperwork and service reports.
• Promote safety procedures and correct use of personal protective equipment.

• Compressor Maintenance and Repair Overview
  Routine maintenance and repairs for oil-injected, oil-free air compressors.
  Follows manufacturer's recommendations for schedule and scope.
  Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctioning compressors.
  Conducts repairs based on diagnostics and assessment.
  Tests and documents compressor's proper operating parameters.

Key Accountabilities

Equipment Maintenance and Repair Roles
Inspecting compressors and dryers for general condition.
Evaluating parts for reusability and repair needs.
Ensuring high-quality equipment repair both in-house and field.
Completing required paperwork and service reports.
Maintaining equipment and associated process tooling.
Upgrading and changing process equipment to support design changes.
Promoting safety procedures and correct use of personal protective equipment.
Proper utilization of testing tools and equipment.
Absorbing higher levels of learning through continuous training

Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude

• Educational Qualifications & Certifications:Diploma or Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Knowledge:Basic Mechanical/Electrical diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Technical Skills:Tools and Hand skills – Preventive maintenance
• Language Skills:Must be able to read and write in English. Arabic speaking will be an added value.
• Experience:Min. 3 years of strong mechanical and electrical skills with demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul and repair of a wide variety of industrial equipment’s.Large air compressor experience strongly desired
