Job summary

Alfa Laval in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Service Centre Technician to uphold repair processes and support continuous improvement across the team. You will work with plate and welded heat exchangers and decanter centrifuges, applying TIG welding as needed.

The role emphasizes collaboration with team members and support functions, maintaining quality, coaching colleagues, and driving efficient service execution on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of repair processes/products/applications.
• Ability to monitor and drive team performance with a focus on waste elimination.
• Coordinate with team, support functions and manager to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Develop key processes and tools within the team and share best practices.

Responsibilities

• Excellent knowledge of repair processes/products/applications.
• Monitor processes and performance in the team/shift with a focus on waste elimination.
• Act as a link between the team, support functions and team manager.
• Develop the key processes and tools within the team.
• Close competence gaps by training/coaching and running SOP audit dialogues.
• Control quality, deviations and service execution stops together with team manager.
• When needed support team members with immediate problem solving.
• Support and participate in problem-solving and knowledge-sharing with other service organizations in AL.
• Optional: coordinate, plan and support the daily work of the team/shift.
• Previous experience of Plate and Welded Heat Exchangers reconditioning and maintenance. (Is a plus)
• Previous experience of decanter centrifuge maintenance. (Is a plus)
• Tig welding experience. (is a plus)
