Job summary

VaporVM seeks a seasoned Senior VMware & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and manage enterprise VMware environments. You will lead integration with OCI and Microsoft Azure, ensure high availability, and drive security across the virtualized stack.

You will own disaster recovery design, perform failover/failback validation, and partner with network security teams to implement robust policies and secure hybrid connectivity.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, deploying and troubleshooting VMware vSphere environments.
• Strong knowledge of vCenter, clusters, HA/DR, vMotion and resource management.
• Proficiency with NSX for virtual networking, segmentation and security.
• Expertise with vSAN storage policies, capacity planning and performance.
• Hands-on experience in hybrid cloud, cloud migrations and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, administer, and troubleshoot VMware vSphere environments.
• Manage vCenter Server, ESXi hosts, clusters, HA, DRS, vMotion, and resources.
• Configure and manage NSX networking, segmentation, routing, and security.
• Manage vSAN storage policies, capacity, performance, and troubleshooting.
• Lead DR testing, failover/failback procedures, and disaster recovery planning.
• Support on-prem-to-cloud integration with OCI and Azure and secure hybrid connectivity.
